Building permits up significantly in California City

NEW HOMES are under construction in California City, like this 3,000-square-foot
custom home in the Jacobs Tract. City officials report that some 15 homes
are being built in the city and more are expected to add to the city's
housing inventory. A new Ace Hardware store is also under construction
on California City Boulevard in the city.
